CANDLE COUNTERS - SANDPITS
Next to the temple’s entrance, at the narthex we can see the candle counter. On its horizontal surface there is a series of cases where the candles according to their size are place and a slot for the coins to be drawn. Next to the candle counter the sandpits lie on top of which the worshipers dispose the candles.
